LITTLE RAMBOWS

I watched this movie "Little Rambows (Original tittle: Son Of Rambow)" with my friend about a month ago and I really like it. So I gonna introduce this movie, and I hope you love it like me.

Story*
In 1982's UK. Will (Bill Milner) is quiet and shy, and his family belongs to the strict chirch discipline. Will is forbidden to watch films, television or other enjoyments. So his only enjoyment is scribbling on his notebook or a wall and it comes from his fantasy. Oneday, Will accidentally meets Lee Carter (Will Poulter) who is the worst-behaved boy in school. Lee is almost independent and couldn't play like usual kids because his mother isn't be in home often. Two boys both don't have their father and it's also their simmilarity. Although their character is opposite, they hit it off right away, and oneday they watch the movie "RAMBOW" at Lee's house. Will was very moved by the movie the first time he watched, and hold admiration for Rambow. Then, Will starts to perform the stunts as a "son of rambow" in Lee's independent film, he is making with his bullying older brother, Lawrence's (Ed Westwick) home video equipment...

I was really moved by Will and Lee's friendship and cried on the end of the movie. I really think Will Porter as Lee Carter who also acted in the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia" is a brilliant actor. I love him and I believe he will be a great actor in this world after this!!! :)

Favorite magazine in hawaii

My favorite magazine in hawaii is "Glamour Magazine". This magazine is selling different types of glamour magazine in many countries. I like reading magazines because they put lot of fashion stuff and makes me inspirations up. The Japanese magazines are always thick and putting lot of make up pages (i like this also), but foreign country's magazine is not like that, not thick as japanese magazine but still nice. Well I was looking for the magazine as putting many fashion pages and I found! and this is it "Glamour Magazine". I really like to read glamour magazine's fashion and gossip  pages :)

How about you? Does anyone know the different nice magazine??

Today's dinner and my facial care stuff

1. My hand made "hamburg steak". This is Japanese food. I read through wikipedia, tells the recipe's hint from American hamburger.

2.This is Japanese rice and I really like.

3. I have bought cacao collagen mask and face soap.

My Birthday !

Finally, I finished the last final exam today! I'm feeling so nice 'cause summer vacation started at the same time. Although I had a part time job at Japanese restaurant "SATO" after school and I was feeling tired, I am happy! :)

Today, July 29 is --- my birthday. I became 21 years old but it hasn't hit me yet. My submanager at job take me for a shaved ice after works, haha ♥ lol (But I worked more 30 min instead of that. lol)

This is called "Uji-Kintoki" which tastes Green Tea with adzuki(sweet) beans, vanilla ice cream & rice-flour dumplings I love.

Anyway, I wanna thanks my friends and Misaki for their happy-birthday texts.
I wish my year of 21 would be so good.

Meaning of the blog title

The typical meaning of this blog title is "Adelaide girls", but include lot of love for Australia. A is Asuka's A and also the inicial of Australia,Adelaide and Airplane. "Mate" means same as "dude" in America. M is Misaki's M too:) I like this title becaure it appeal many feelings of us. If you interested in more detail of us, you can read from "About".

New digital camera

I had a writing class from this morning. After finishing a class, I got a new camera finally. It was little bit pricy but do nice work as you can see. The four pictures at the below had taken by iphone using application and the last picture had taken by new camera.

Summer Clothes :)

Nooow, it has been a long time wearing a Jinbei ---it is a Japanese traditional summertime casual wear! Looks like Kiono, but is is not. I like Jinbei cause it's very easy. I am feeling easy. My jinbei is blue color and floral pattern, i love it.
Anyway, I gonna go to Summer Festival in Wakayama prefecture this August 15 with wearing it.

You might know the festival already---it is called Kinokawa-Matsuri, near my granma's house.
A lot of people come there every year because the festival is famous, modestly.

Hi, everyone! My name is Asuka, I'm 20 years old, well, actually ALMOST 21 years old. My birthday is now comming.lol
I am studying English in my universiy and I had stayed Salt Lake City in the U.S. for study aboroad last year. I also have been to Australia several times.
